Nominate a Leader for Inclusion Now

Want to recognize an inspiring leader or organization that is advancing equity and inclusion? We are looking for those incredible people have made supporting women and others who are underrepresented in tech a priority. Nominate them for an EDGE in Tech Athena Award today!

The EDGE in Tech Athena Awards recognize those who embody, encourage and promote the inclusion of women and others who have been historically marginalized in the tech sector. Awardees are leaders who inspire others to pursue and persist in technical careers by way of their outstanding contributions, service and mentorship to foster inclusion in science and technical fields.

Nominations are open to all candidates regardless of gender, age, institutional affiliation and country of residence. Nominations are due by 5 p.m. PT on Monday November 27, 2023.

Nominations are open in these four categories:

  • Executive Leadership (individual)
  • Academic Leadership (individual)
  • Early Career (individual)
  • Next-Generation Engagement (organization)

Awards will be announced during the annual EDGE in Tech Symposium, “Advancing Health Tech for All”, on Friday, March 8, 2024, which will highlight the experiences of experts working to advance innovation and equity in health tech.

Submit nominations by 5 p.m. PT, Monday, Nov. 27, 2023 to edge.berkeley.edu/athena-awards.
